Becoming a content machine and creating a continuous flow of content that successfully moves the customer through each step of their buying journey is essential to every organization.

However, executing this strategy can prove difficult in practice and requires a commitment to producing high-quality content.

RevvSpark Founder and CEO Carly J. Cais joined Brandi Starr on the Revenue Rehab Podcast for the Kickstarting Lead Flow: Strategies and Tactics to Becoming a Content Machine episode.

In the episode, she shared:

How to adapt demand generation strategy in a tough economy

Re-visiting demand gen strategy in an economic downturn is wise. One way to do this is to divide the demand generation efforts into buckets, and channel the budget in the direction of low-hanging fruit: buyers already in-market. And ensure that they are being approached in a way that makes sense for where they are at in the buying journey. Make sure you are serving up the right message – at the right time.

“Things can go wrong where a TOFU audience is being served up ads that are not brand awareness ads – where a company is asking for the sale,” Carly shared.

Become a content machine with limited resources

RevvSpark’s tried-and-tested approach to becoming a content machine splits out into three action items. One is starting with a piece of long-form content as the source content (such as a podcast recording). By focusing their efforts on creating a single piece of content once (or several) times a month, a Marketing team can use this to create multiple other pieces with very little effort. (Get our other two action items and a handy guide for this below!)

Achieve “Multi-Channel Nirvana” with this one trick

To achieve “multi-channel nirvana” we recommend ensuring that buyers receive a consistent message throughout their journey. It keeps their experience cohesive, anticipates their needs, and helps move them further down the funnel.

“(At any company) there should be a single centralized source of truth to create full alignment between Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.”
