Branded Search (and Beyond) with Jason Barnard: SPARK Your Marketing with Conversion Content Podcast Feature

Creating and leveraging Conversion Content is a process. It starts with creating valuable content that meticulously addresses the target audience’s pain points. It moves on to generating market demand, encouraging leads to take the next step in the Buyer’s Journey, and finally, converting visitors into buyers.

That process is the RevvSpark SPARK Formula.

RevvSpark Founder and CEO Carly J. Cais joined Jason Bernard on the Branded Search (and Beyond) with Jason Barnard podcast for the SPARK Your Marketing with Conversion Content episode.

In the episode, she shared:

Hone in On Strategy with the SPARK Formula

The SPARK Formula is how RevvSpark plans campaigns to achieve an organization’s goals.

Unlike other campaign planning methods that begin with a complete audit of the Marketing function, the SPARK process starts with Strategy first. It filters the less essential things out and develops a plan to achieve the strategy, and then defines all the parts and pieces needed to execute.

“The problem is when you start with a full-on audit instead of the overall strategy, you can bring in a lot of extraneous noise and get your team focused on the wrong things. So we want to focus down on what is the strategy first,” Carly shared.

Misalignment Between Sales and Marketing Causes Unnecessary Friction for the Prospect

In many companies Sales and Marketing are misaligned and the prospect experience is sub-par. Experiencing Marketing assets (like landing pages and website) to being “handed off to” Sales (e.g., a Sales rep) and experiencing even the tiniest bit of friction between the two is off-putting for people. We work with organizations to address this and ensure that the experience for prospects and customers alike is smooth, no matter what internal department they are dealing with.

Feedback Loops Create Better Conversion Content

Creating content that generates demand involves anticipating a person’s content needs.

It also involves improving the content via feedback loops from the target audience. Through the feedback loop, organizations can improve their content and include information that makes the reader take action (such as subscribing to a newsletter or watching a demo).

“Something that a lot of companies don’t do is have that frequent feedback loop with their customers, to always be improving their content and the journey that people go through.”
